The Australian Institute of International Affairs NSW celebrates the end of an eventful year with a recital of Chinese and Australian music by an internationally renowned Chinese folk singer and a local trio of eastern and western instrumentalists.


The musicians are Ya Fen, soprano; Ying Liu, erhu; Andrea Ng, viola; and Emily Broomhead, cello. They will be joined by 13-year-old erhu student Terrence Luk who will give an introduction to the history and special features of his instrument.


The performance will be followed by a seasonal buffet supper.



Date: Tuesday 6 December, 2022


Time: 6:00 pm; Presentation 6:15 pm – 6.45 pm; Refreshments till 8pm

Venue: The Glover Cottages, 124 Kent Street, Sydney (located adjacent to the Kent St Fire Station)

Cost (including Christmas buffet and drinks): AIIA NSW members $ 20.00; Senior & Student members: $15.00; Non-members $25; Senior and Student non-members $20.00;

Tickets can be pre-paid by credit card through Stripe when registering online.

Payment may be made at the door in cash only.
