Ané has deep experience working in international development and world affairs. She has a proven track record of delivering high-impact projects with the goal of advancing progress against the United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goals.Throughout her career, Ané has worked in Australia, Fiji and the U.S.A for various UN agencies. She is also the CEO and founder of Young Women in Sustainable Development. An organisation for young women working towards an inclusive, sustainable future. To date the organisation's campaigns have reached 47 countries.
Thomas is a Senior Analyst for the Department of Enterprise, Investment and Trade. Upon completing his undergraduate degree in Econometrics and Chinese Studies, he worked in Hong Kong and Shanghai in the finance industry and for the Australian Trade and Investment Commission. He previously worked as a Research Officer at the Australia-China Relations Institute, specialising in foreign affairs and the Australia-China trade relationship, publishing research reports and public commentary. His current role focuses on providing strategic direction for the NSW Government's foreign investment attraction priorities and economic development.
Katherine Storey has worked for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) since 2013. She has served overseas in New Delhi, India, covering Indian domestic politics, human rights and national security. Before this, she represented Australia in international climate change negotiations, including at the Paris Climate Change Conference in 2015. She currently works in DFAT’s NSW State Office.
Prior to joining DFAT, Katherine worked in the legal sector. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Arts and Laws (Hons) from the University of Western Australia.
